A very proud tita over here.
There are kikay kits (make-up essentials), toiletry kits, emergency kits and there are tita essentials kits. Let me introduce you the stuff that I carry with me to work or anywhere else I will go. These are things that a grown asque woman needs in her life. I have become a certified tita when I reached thirty and am happily embracing it. I have accepted the fact that I am a grown woman and needed to take care of myself and be more independent.
I separated my essentials into two pouches gifted by my childhood bestie Rocel. The first pouch contains the bigger items in my tita essentials. It is a small bag but you can definitely put a ton in it. The items that are in this bag are:
- Wet wipes - this is to clean dirt off of my face or arms when i am travelling. I also use it to clean myself up after I go to the washroom.
- Sanitary pads - i have an irregular period schedule and that is why I need to have extra pads with me just to be sure. It is better to have some with me than buy the whole pack in convenience stores.
- Mints / candy - I am into oral hygiene but if I am on the go and I don’t have the means to brush my teeth, mints are my go to breath savers.
- Alcohol - since there are a lot of bacteria and viruses floating around, having these in your bag is a must. When in doubt, and if you don’t have access to running water for washing your hands, you can spritz your hands with alcohol to kill the bacteria living there especially if you’ll be eating.
- Mirror - this is just to help me with putting on lipstick or checking if my eyebrows are still on fleek.
- Pantyliner - on days when my period is almost over, I use pantyliner. I keep some in my bag as well so that I am ready if in case I need it.
- Brown tissue - these are my go-to oil control absorbent. Brown tissues tend to absorb more oil than regular tissue. I normally use ones that I get from restaurants.
- Face masks - in light of the recent crisis, I have been carrying extra masks with me just in case.
- Lipstick - I usually look pale and having an extra lip color with me helps bring back the color to my lips.
- Lip Balm - I am addicted to lip balms and owning one is both an obsession and a necessity.
- Pen - you'll never know when you will be filling out forms, so better be ready.
- Candy - I just like taking some with me and if I run out of the ones from my other pouch at least I have these as back-up.
- Bandages - I am such an accident prone person that having these in my bag are an essential.
- Katingko - sniffles, headaches and body aches are a part of my everyday struggles at work and having a roll on ointment helps alleviate the pain.
- Eye drops - these were recommended by my doctor because of the nature of my job.
- OTC medicines - it is somewhere in there. I have pain medication just in case I need it but I have yet to put other OTC meds as well.
These are just the basic necessities that I bring with me that completes my tita kits. There may be changes here and there but these are the things that I carry around as of the moment. You'll never when emergency situations might happen and being ready & alert is a must.
