Random Ramblings: What's the tea?

So here's the tea.

Cleansing should be a part of our diet. We eat a ton of processed food that has fat, salt and artificial everything. Our body need help in flushing out these evil things in our bodies. I mean, I love fast food and all but when I feel bloated and am running out of breath, I need to clean it right away. I drink at least two liters of water a day but a little more help is more than welcome.

I found a site that specializes in catering to our tea problems. So here's the tea about Chinesetea4u and I am spilling them all out for you. They a wide array of products to offer. The site has oolong tea, black tea, green tea and many more. I also found out that they have both fresh and fermented types of teas as well.

I will touch base with a type of tea that is quite new to me, pu erh tea. It is a fermented tea that is produced in Yunnan in China. It is formed in a plate-like shape and is wrapped up to preserve it. The more this tea is preserved, the better it will taste. It reminds me of wine, the longer it is fermented, the more robust the taste will be.

Here are the details of this specific tea taken from their site. (https://www.chinesetea4u.com/product/2013-puer-tea-fermented-tea-cake-menghai-fermented-tea-357g-tea/)

As per my research, pu erh can be made with both fresh and dried tea leaves. It is quite a complicated feat but I think that a visit to a plantation can really open up our minds to how it is made. I watched a video on how these were made and I was mind blown. I loved how they carefully pick the finest leaves for the process, it's calming.

I was able to see the processes of them hand pressing each tea cake in its perfect plate shape. To make sure that it is as tight as possible, they even step on a cement block to help pack each cake well. That video was so fascinating and I got to share it, so here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2BekCvAZqM.

How do you actually prepare it? You have to flake off a enough leaves from the pu erh cake that you have, weigh it if need be. You then let it seep in hot water for at least 5 minutes. Use a strainer when pouring your tea and enjoy the goodness of its cleansing powers.

Drinking tea is calming and helps you relax. I should do it more often since working in the BPO industry can give you stress and will make you gain weight. A couple of minutes sipping tea and relaxing is a good way to go. Especially in these trying times, we need to keep our immune systems up and running and drinking tea helps as well. Tea has polyphenols that help fight infections, so drink up.

That is pretty much everything that I can share about tea and Chinesetea4u. I hope that you visit their site and check their products out, I am sure that you will love em. Thank you and stay safe!
