Fashion Post: My love of watches

Time is gold, so they say, and it is true. There was never a day in my life that I haven't looked at my wrist or my phone to check the time. I am always in a hurry even on days when there is no need for me to be in a hurry. I just got used to being on time, I guess that is the reason why.

I have had a ton of watches and most are bought online. I prefer digital ones but when I see an analog watch that is classy and unique, I will buy it. For this post, I will be sharing my small collection of watches. I have yet to buy a storage box to keep them but their temporary home is a stationary box that my mum gave me.

The first watch that I will be sharing is the first Casio watch that I bought for myself. I bought it from an store in Shopee and I am in love with it. This is a Casio LA670WGA-1DF Small Classic Vintage Gold Watch. It is so dainty, which is so not like me, and I can use it for normal days or when I need to dress up. I just love the classic and  vintage feel that it is giving me. Plus, it is digital so it is easier for me to tell the time.

Next are two of the watches that I bought from a friend. I bought two because it was on sale on her page. I bought both the gold and silver version of the same watch which is the. They have a weight to them so I rarely wear these because of it being too bulky but I loved the vintage face of them.

I also bought the Casio Women's B640WC-5AEF Retro Digital Watch (Rose Gold) from her shop. I bought one from my mum as well so that we can be twinning. I love how feminine it is but it is not so in your face feminine. The color gives it a feminine touch but is not in your face.

So far, this is my favorite one from my collection. This is the Casio Digital F-91W-1DG Black Rubber Strap Unisex Watch and it is getting a ton of wear from me. I just hate the fact that rubber leaves a weird smell on my wrist but that is okay. I bought this from the Casio store on Shopee and it was love at first sight.

Lastly, this watch reminded me on the one that Robert Langdon has in Dan Brown's book series and I just had to have it. It is this Mickey Mouse watch that looks vintage and we bought it at Hong Kong Disneyland and I am obsessed! It came with a brown strap and if I wanted to be a copy cat of Robert, I would swap out the straps for black.

I always pair my watches with a rosary bracelet because, I don't know about you, but every time that I have one on I feel the safest. I got used to wearing one and I cannot leave the house without them. It is just my thing.
