OOTD: Blushing Black

Blushing Black

(this is close to what I wore at the burial. thanks to Polycore because I wasn't able to take a photo of my outfit. :P)

It is my grandmother's (my grandfather's sister-in-law) burial today so we had to wear black. The sun is up and it is really hot today but nothing stopped us from coming. I also had my cousins, nephews, niece and brothers there so that I have someone to talk to. I also bought ice cream for them because it was so hot. The new Magnum Choco-Cappuccino is AMAZING and I would love to try it again.

We saw our relatives who we haven't met before. You can see the difference between our side of the family and theirs. They are fair skinned and gorgeous, because they had a Spanish origin and only a few of us where like that, just like CJ, Bimby and my brother Tony. They were nice and accommodating and they really are sweet. I guess what binds the family together is our hospitality and care. I have an awesome family, I can say that out loud.

For my outfit, I wore my v-necked black tee from The Pink Shop and paired it with my black jeggings from Jag. For my shoes, I wore my adorable polka dotted ballet flats in blush by SoleMate. I love how the blush color of the ballet flats pop out and brightens up the whole look.

The accessories that I wore were my black chained charm bracelet from Pink Box, a magnet rosary from my mum, a black spiked cuff from Forever 21 and my Eiffel tower necklace that I bought from a random store at 168 Divisoria Mall. I brought my gray leopard printted satchel bag from Twins Closet to carry my things in. The earrings that I had on (although you can't see it) are these rhinestone studs and rhinestone star studs from SilverWorks and a black rose stud from Forever 21.

The perfume that I used today was the Blossoming Romance Refreshing Body Mist by Victoria's Secret. For the makeup that I used, I started off with my facial routine which is the Céleteque DermoScience+ Acne Solutions Oil Control Toner and Céleteque Facial Moisturizer. For my base I used the Revlon Photoready Airbrush Mousse Makeup and to set the foundation I used Ever Bilena Powder Foundation with UVA/UVB Protection in Oriental. The blush that I used today was a pinky blush in my Body Collection Mini Makeup Palette and then I applied my favorite Maybelline New York Baby Lips in Smoothing Cherry and then my Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Cherry Tart for my lips. I used my Qichun Liquid Eyeliner for my signature winged eyeliner and my Hello Kitty by Mac gel liner to rim my waterline which gave me a gothic and mysterious look. Lastly, to define my invisible eyebrows, I used my Etude House Easy Brow Pencil in #2 Brown.

(here are the products that I used today)

(I haven't put on my lipstick here yet and I think my eyebrows are off. :P)

I missed having the time to talk to my cousins and I thank my mum for this precious photo.
