Crazy Birthday Party

My family and I have been Cavite residents for quite some time now and my life here has been the most perfect chaos ever, thanks to my ever crazy best friends Rocel, Roquelle and Roma. I love these girls so much, they are the craziest bunch that I have ever met.

Last Friday was Roma's birhday but her family celebrated it last night and we had a blast! Although it was not as long as what we've been celebrating for the past few years, still we had fun because we got together again. It was her 20th birthday and we were so happy that we made her feel special because she was really exhausted with her activities at school and the simple gestures that we made for her had such a great effect on her. I even made a crazy spoof of Selena Gomez's Love You Like a Love Song which was really embarrassing.

Here are the photos that we had last night.

Dressing Up My BFFs

I would want to play the dress up game with my childhood best friends. It's not that I want to treat them as toys but as models for my styling ideas. They are so dear to me and since they also want to try new things, I am more than willing to help them out.

First up is Rocel, whom I call B, I already made a blog post about her and I would want to put together an outfit for her without any help from already posted photos. I will be putting together a whole outfit for her which would look good on her.

I would want something that will show her figure but doesn't cling to her that much. I would want the outfit to be comfortable and stylish at the same time. I wanna see her in skinny jeans, to show off those curves and a flowy top to accentuate her figure. Since she isn't fond of wearing heels, I would want her to wear a stylish pair of flat sandals that will go well with anything she wears. Minimal accessories is also added to this look to not over power the whole outfit.

For make-up, I would want to see Rocel with a golden smokey eye and fresh lips. A little dusting of bronzer to contour her face and a little winged liner to define her eyes more.

Next is Roquelle, miss tall and skinny, I would want her to look curvy rather than just plain thin. I want to see her dress up in a way that will make her look like she has curve and is fuller. Since she's slim, just like what I have read on the net, dressing her up with darker bottoms and lighter top does make a skinny girl look fuller than how she is. Just like Rocel, I still want her to be comfortable and still fashionable. I want her to look girly and cute at the same time.

For the make-up, an anime inspired look will be appropriate for her, and that is what she wants to. Lightly brushed with pastel colored eye shadow and a heavy wing to imitate the anime look. A soft lip will be appropriate and blushed pink cheeks to not over power the strong eye make-up.

Last but not the least is the jolliest girl in our clique, Roma. She is the sexiest among the four of us, although she doesn't see that. I would want to dress her up, actually we all want to dress her up, like a korean girl because she has the perfect bod and face for it. We all want her to flaunt those flawless legs that she keeps on hiding. She should embrace her inner goddess. She should do her hair in light curls and do a half do with a hair bow to finish it all.

For her make-up, just a sweet dewy make-up will do it. Peachy pink blush paired with supple pink lips and minimal eye make-up will do the trick.

That is all for my styling tips, I hope that they'll like it. Wish me luck!

A Little Help from Ate Keyti

"Ate pahingi naman ng malalaking blouse mo if meron" (translation: Is it okay if I can have any larger clothes from you?). Rocel told me that one time when we were talking, she is my childhood best friend that is a gorgeous full figured lady. She always wears tees and jeans whenever she goes out or to work, keeping her gorgeous figure. I would want to see her bloom, be more adventurous with her style, I also love when all of them (Rocel, Roquelle & Roma) are staring at me whenever I do a make-up tutorial. Enough of the RoRoRoKa girls, it's Rocel's time to shine now.

I would want to help her style herself without taking away her comfort zone, which are her tees and jeans. She could always play with her outfit and mix and match items from her closet. If she'll be wearing a tee, I would want to see her in a V-Necked tee rather than the round neck because it will only make her look fuller (that's based on my opinion only).

I searched for photos that could help her with styling herself up and I'll just be there to guide her what fits her well.

In this photo, it will show her how to do layering and how to play with colors. She should be afraid to wear colors that are striking, just as long as it doesn't go over the top. I love how simple staples, just like the tank top on the first outfit, is glammed up with a studded belt which gives the illusion of having a longer torso.

In this next photo she can see how she could dress up in a casual day out or even for church. Prints and a staple white blouse is a must in a girls closet because you could really play with these clothing items. An empire waist top will give her the illusion of a fuller chest and longer body. She could also play up with the accessories, if she's wearing a top with a loud print tone done the accessories with monochromatic colors and if she's wearing something plain jazz it up with gems but not too much.

Here are choices for an evening out with the girls or if she just wants to dress up. These are clothes that are not over the top and that she could easily pull off. It's not really a drastic change but still it will give her a more glamorous look to her.

I hope that this post will really help my best friend find more confidence in herself, I will always be here to help her out and I will never fail to keep her grounded. Soon make-up tips for my girls. See y'all soon!

OOTD : Rocking Miley ( December 2011 )

It's my BSN barkada's Christmas party and we decided to play dress up in any way we want. Mine was Miley Cyrus and to achieve that look I put clip-on hair extension, a marching band jacket by Gallery, a bustier LBD that I bought online at Twins Closet and a pair of leopard print pumps by Rusty Lopez. (sorry for the "stolen shot" that I posted)

The dress was too short for my liking but it looked oh so fab on me but had an indicent accident but no worries because it wasn't intentional. I had a great time dressing up for the occasion and I owned it.

My make-up was focused on bold eyes that is why I packed on the eyeliner to really bring life to my eyes. I used my Hello Kitty Mac gel liner first and topped it off with my Ever Bilena liquid eyeliner in black. Smudged a bit of black eye shadow from the Careline eye shadow palette. I used a bronzy orange blush from Ever Bilena in Desire and a light lip color wih my Maybelline Lip Smooth Color lip balm in Cherry.

We had a wonderful time at the Music Lounge where we sang our hearts out and we loved every second of it. Having to celebrate this season with friends is awesome and being with my barkada made it more memorable.
