I have waited for a long time

For a love that will last for a lifetime.

I expected too much,

Gave up so much.

Everything was wasted,

Sweet life isn't what I tasted.

I became a fool,

I became just a tool.

You used me,

Broke every little piece of me.

I loved you with all my heart,

Yet you gave me a broken heart.

I feel like there is a missing puzzle piece,

It made me pray for my life to freeze.

I never wanted to let go,

But the pain is too hard to ignore you know.

I gave up enough,

Actually, more than enough.

I will miss you,

Everything about you.

Goodbye my love,

May you fly away freely like a dove.
