Review & Demo: Ever Bilena Eyeshadow 12 Shades Palette

Here is a salute to the local brands!

Good afternoon loves! Today is going to be a review and demo post using the Ever Bilena Eyeshadow 12 Shades Palette. I bought this palette because I am gonna be joining a makeup look contest by Ms. Milna of Milna Mania and Ms. Jannie of Jannieology. It is the Oh So Emerald Makeup Look Contest and what you should do to join is to make a look that is inspired by the color emerald. It should be chic and wearable as well.

The palette is P 160 at the Ever Bilena counter at SaveMore Salitran. I was looking for a palette with green eyeshadows and this was the only one that has the colors that I am looking for. It has 12 frosty and matte shadows. The colors of the shadows are numbered from 1 - 12. The box indicates that these shadows glide on easily, blends easily and they are non-creasing that stays on all day. It is also enriched in Vitamin E to keep the eye hydrated and moisturized.

       ❧ it has a reasonable price for a palette of 12

       ❧ it has a sleek design

       ❧ the colors are wearable

       ❧ it has a large mirror

       ❧ is perfect for travelling because of it's size

       ❧ matte colors have great color pay-off

       ❧ some of the shadows are powdery

       ❧ it has a lot of fall outs

       ❧ I gave the Ever Bilena Eyeshadow 12 Shades Palette 4 stars because yes it has great colors but the powdery consistency of the shadows with a lot of fall outs was a turn off.

       ❧ if they release another palette with different colors, I'll still buy it. I just love how it glides on to my lids. I would also want to try out if it does stay all day without creasing. This is a great product that is proudly Filipino. I recommend this for women on the go, it is a good palette to carry along with you because it is compact.

Here are photos of me with the makeup look that I have submitted for the contest. I watched tutorials on how to put on eyeshadows and on what look I should do. Green Hornet is what this look will be named. It remind me of the movie so much. It is just a simple look that I came up with.

How I achieved it:

    ❥ I used the Mally Eyeshadow Base to prevent the eyeshadow from creasing.

    ❥ I used the Ever Bilena Mousse Eyeshadow in Amber as a base.

    ❥ For a wash of color, I packed on a light green eyeshadow (Eyeshadow No. 2) on my lids.

    ❥ I then winged out a green shadow (Eyeshadow No.3) for added added dimension.

    ❥ I then lined my eyes using my Hello Kitty by Mac Gel Eyeliner in Black for a slight cat eye look.

    ❥ Lastly, I put on a light champagne eyeshadow (Eyeshadow No. 10) on my tear ducts to give brightness 

       to my eyes.

    ❥ For the rest of my makeup, I used the Maybelline New York Volum' Express® The Falsies™ 

       Washable Mascara in Black, my cheeks, I used my Maybelline New York - Blush Studio Jelly 

       Glow that has a coral orange shade, then my Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in Mauvey for my lips and 
       topped it of with my Let's Face It WetGlam Lipgloss in #04.
